Biography: 

Jacob Taylor is an adjunct professor of physics with an adjunct appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies. He is also a scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Taylor’s research involves understanding the fundamental and practical limits to building quantum information devices, studying novel approaches to entangling atomic, photonic and solid state systems, and exploring potential applications of quantum information systems to metrology and measurement science.
