Shneiderman named an IEEE Fellow

Ben Shneiderman has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. Shneiderman has been championing improved interface designs, consistency, and interoperability for electronic health records. His research interests include human-computer interaction, user interface design, information visualization, and social media.
