UMIACS Graduate Students Have Two Papers Accepted to Machine Learning Journal

Graduate students working with Jordan Boyd-Graber, iSchool and UMIACS, had two papers accepted to a special issue of the Machine Learning Journal on computational social science.

“Modeling Topic Control to Detect Influence in Conversations using Nonparametric Topic Models" was submitted by Viet-An Nguyen, Jordan Boyd-Graber, Philip Resnik, Deborah Cai, Jennifer Midberry and Yuanxin Wang.

“Interactive Topic Modeling” was submitted by Yuening Hu, Jordan Boyd-Graber, Brianna Satino and Alison Smith.
