Rita Colwell conferred an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Johns Hopkins University

Rita Colwell was conferred an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Johns Hopkins University, for her contributions to solving water-related public health problems. Dr. Colwell, a world-renowned environmental microbiologist and scientific administrator, has received 55 honorary degrees from several institutions of higher education.
