Larry Davis elected as a Fellow of ACM

Professor Larry Davis has been elected as a fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), for his contributions to image processing and computer vision.

Dr. Davis is a Professor in the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies and the Department of Computer Science. He is affiliated with the Computer Vision Laboratory of the Center for Automation Research, for which he served as the head from 1981-1986. He also served as the Chair of the department of Computer Science from 1999-2012.
