CS Grad Student has won an Information is Beautiful Award

CS Grad Student Krist Wongsuphasawat has won the Interactive Category of the Information is Beautiful Award. His information visualization, European Bubbles, shows the European debt crisis over time. The committee called Wongsuphasawat's design "Amazing, slick and full-featured interactive from Krist gives loads of room for exploratory fun, data-digging and finding new angles on the crisis.”

The Guardian sponsored this event known as the world's first global awards for data visualization and information design.
