UMIACS, CS Department Has New Assistant Director of Corporate Relations

Savannah Renehan has recently transitioned into her new role as assistant director of corporate relations for the Department of Computer Science and UMIACS.

Renehan is a University of Maryland alumna with a professional background in sales and marketing. Over the past two years, she has worked as the program coordinator for the Undergraduate Computer Science program. Her responsibilities included developing and implementing a variety of events, including the Daemon Dash Hackathon, the Friday Afternoon Research Series, and the department’s successful bi-annual Career and Internship Fair.

Over the past year, she has also acted as the coordinator for the Corporate Partners in Computing program, providing support for the 25 corporate partners and on-boarding new partners, including NSA, Capital One, and AQR Capital Management.
