Raschid Collaborates on Data Science for Finance

Louiqa Raschid, professor of information systems and UMIACS, is collaborating with IBM, the University of Michigan and the University of California, Berkeley, to develop datasets and tools to predict and better manage financial crises.

She presented her research on “Data Science for Finance” to the Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD) program at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on Nov. 12.
