MC2 Hosts Cyber Workshop for Middle School Girls

More than 60 young women gathered at the University of Maryland on October 5 to participate in the second Cybersecurity and Cybersafety Workshop for Girls. Sponsored by the Maryland Cybersecurity Center (MC2), the event brings together girls in grades 6 through 8 from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. to learn about cybersecurity, and how Internet safety and security impacts their everyday lives.
