LCCD Predictive Analytics Featured on BTN LiveBIG

Researchers in the Laboratory for Computational Cultural Dynamics (LCCD) are featured in a 60-second television spot airing on BTN LiveBIG, the Big Ten website showcasing research and education from each of the conference’s 14 institutions.

The video highlights innovative research in LCCD that combines predictive analytics and drones to help protect rhinos and other endangered species in Africa.

V.S. Subrahmanian, professor of computer science and director of LCCD, and Thomas Snitch, a visiting professor in UMIACS, are both interviewed.
