Jon Froehlich, computer science and UMIACS, and graduate students involved with the Human-Computer Interaction Lab recently participated in a daylong Maker Faire in Silver Spring, Md.
The event brought together innovators of all types to display and demonstrate art, science, technology, craft and engineering.
Froehlich was selected as an “Inventor in Our Midst” for his work in designing, building and evaluating interactive technology that addresses high-value social issues like environmental sustainability, computer accessibility and personalized health and wellness.
