Fermüller Part of Winning UMD/UMB Seed Grant Team

Cornelia Fermüller, an associate research scientist in UMIACS, is part of a team that recently won a UMD, UMB competitive seed grant, one of six grants awarded this year as part of the MPowering the State initiative. Fermüller will work with Jaydev Desai (UMD mechanical engineering) and Kelly Westlake (UMB rehabilitation science) to a develop portable robotic glove to improve hand function in stroke patients.
